Equal Math was founded by Beckett Thornton, a senior at Jesuit College Prep in Dallas who scored a 1550 on the SAT — including a perfect 800 on the math section. He believes strong math help should be within reach for every family, not just those who can afford expensive prep companies.
Equal Math is just getting started, built on a simple idea: quality math tutoring shouldn't depend on what a family can afford. Through fair pricing and a pay-it-forward free program, the goal is to make great tutoring available to more students.
